Various rule amendments may be needed to meet the requirements of state and federal laws (e.g., SB 700), address variance issues/technology-forcing limits, or to seek additional reductions to meet the SIP short-term measure commitment. The Air Toxics Control Plan (ATCP) is being updated to include new measures to address toxic emissions in the basin. The revised ATCP will include a variety of measures that will reduce exposure to air toxics from stationary, mobile, and area sources.
