REPORT:
ARB’s Subvention Program Audit of AQMD for FY 1997-98
SYNOPSIS:
This transmits the fiscal audit of the AQMD’s use of subvention money granted under the ARB’s Subvention Program. This report states that the AQMD has fully qualified for the subvention received in FY 1997-98.

Administrative, August 20, 1999. Less than a quorum was present during the discussion of this item; those Committee Members who were present communicated their concurrence.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive and file the fiscal audit of the South Coast Air Quality Management District for use of ARB subvention funds for FY 1997-98.

Background
In accordance with generally accepted auditing standards for financial and compliance audits the ARB has examined the AQMD’s application for subvention funds, the AQMD’s year-end financial report, and the AQMD’s Independent Auditor’s Report for fiscal year 1997-98. In their opinion, the payment of subvention money by the ARB to the AQMD for FY 1997-98 was proper.
